Course Requirements:
* Must provide certificate and proof of experience in Classic extensions.
* Must have min. 6mths continuous experience
* Must be 16 years of age or over.
Course Summary:
Introduction to Russian Volume:
Types of lashes and equipment used, curls, lengths & thicknesses used for Russian Volume, glue dipping, capping/bridging/piggyback/stacking, lash layering...
Assessment Practical:
Assessing client's eyes and lashes, lash shape & styling, mapping, determine the lash weight and length, isolation & fan placement, practical on live model assessment exercise.
Application Techniques & Preparation:
Demonstration of 3 different techniques to pick up 2d-7d lashes to make a volume fan using different weights, curls and lengths.
Picking up the volume lashes with the "sweet spot", holding the tweezers correctly.
Lash hygiene, preparation.
Occupational health and safety, workstation preparation, contraindications. Eye infections and conditions.
Apply full set of Russian volume, correct lash application, eyelash extension removal, isolation, glue dipping, fan placement.
Volume lash refills, redefining your lash design - remapping, troubleshooting, contraindication, lash hygiene, aftercare,
Marketing, pricing, capturing your work, using phone apps for editing, social media, retail product knowledge, FAQ.
Outcome: On successful completion of this course you will be able to obtain Insurance and provide Russian Volume eyelash extension services as soon as you wish to start your business.
